Tucked away just north of Jiyugaoka Station is Castanets, an elegant Italian restaurant and cafe. Try the flatbread pizzas, the many types of pasta, or one of the specials of the day – the choices seem endless. The flavors are light and refreshing, while still retaining the core Italian essence of the dishes. Castanets is also known for its variety of delicious cakes and pancakes (a recent boom in Japan), and the black tea that they serve is remarkably flavorful. Castanets is great for groups but is also a perfect choice for an intimate meal with a friend or special someone.

All the food looks so good, especially the pizza! I really like the Jiyugaoka area, it's such an underrated spot in Tokyo in my opinion.
